Planet Surf is a 53ft sailing cat. She was built in 1991 in South Africa,
designed by Alexander Simmonis and is constructed of Kevlar/polyester resin with
a foam core. She has navigated the world and with over 60,000 nautical miles
under her keels is a proven safe vessel. In 2006 the vessel underwent a major
refit in New Zealand and has been set up for surfing/sailing charters.

The owner/captain has had over 20 years experience on the ocean with more
than 6 years operating surf charter boats in the Mentawai Islands off the coast
of West Sumatera.

The boat takes a maximum of 8 passengers and a minimum of 5. She is ideally
suited for couples or families with the cabin configuration being 2 forward
cabins consisting of a single and a double bed and the aft cabin having a double
bed. There are 2 toilets and showers on the vessel and the cabins are
air-conditioned.

There are 2 large outside areas for relaxing and a large saloon/dining area
with a stereo DVD-CD player and a 32 inch wide screen TV.

Continuous 240volt power is available to charge cameras etc which is supplied
by 2 gensets and also a 2500 watt inverter. The main engine is a Lombardini
turbo charged marine diesel and
there is a good selection of sails on board.
There is also a 4.2 meter aluminum/ rubber inflatable with a 18hp outboard to
get you to and from the surf along with a good selection of rods and reels.
The price of $2550.00 USD per person for a 11day 10 night trip includes
airport transfers, 3 free beers, meals, soft drinks and $3USD a day surf
tax.
